This weekend sees the Great British Duck Race - an attempt to break the world record for the number of plastic ducks travelling a 1km course on the river Thames.

You can adopt a duck for charity - I'd love it if you adopted a duck for The Stroke Association, but there are many different charities to choose from.

Adopting a duck costs £2 with an optional donation of £3 for your chosen charity.

The winning duck gets £10,000 with the next 30 also receiving prizes. The organisers are hoping to raise £500,000 for charity.

I've been asked by some friends to mention they have a stack of old Analog magazines they'd like rid off as a result of a spring clean.
